The Institute For One Wisconsin has a new web site. Protect Wisconsin’s Vote.
They are talking about the upcoming November election in Wisconsin and that there is a myth about voter fraud in Wisconsin.
I cannot agree with them concerning past elections because I saw it, but agree with them in November of 2008 it will be a little tougher for all the mischief that used to take place.
They must have heard the same rumors about the undercover folks already trying to see who is behind the past abuses and who is funding it. A FBI agent once told me - just follow the money.
GeorgeĀ - where are you?

I’d like to hear about the “voter fraud” you’ve seen. It would be pretty incredible for you to actually have witnessed one of the 24 incidences of voter fraud that have been successfully prosecuted in the entire country since 2001. Lucky you!
robert 04.06.08 @ 8:09 pmWhat a piece of crap that is.
Make the laws so loose that it is next to impossible to prove the crime.
Next have a bunch of partisan DA’s who refuse to prosecute their pals who break the law.
Now claim that the lack of prosecutions is proof of no fraud.
Bullshit.
Fred 04.06.08 @ 9:38 pmRobert: Actually the year was 1988. But the tactics have not changed since then.
Can’t wait until November of 2008 - twenty years later when YouTube and undercover work catches the abuses. Much better entertainment than just the slashing of tires by children of Congresswomen.
markblock 04.06.08 @ 10:00 pmand actually, according to the US DOJ manual, election crimes are actually EASIER to prosecute than other crimes…they happen in public, involve many actors, and there’s ALWAYS a paper trail.
And if voter fraud is so rampant in WI, how come the last 9 cases of fraud were all found not guilty?
Robert 04.06.08 @ 10:34 pmRobert: A challenge to you and your organization. You pick 50 polling places - I pick 50 polling places in Wisconsin. I have a Americans for Prosperity volunteer and you have a One Wisconsin volunteer - both with video cameras. 100 polling places with a representative from AFP and OW on election day.
Let me know when and where you want to meet to begin the process of picking the polling places and agreement on how fast we put any mischief up on YouTube - election day 2008.
Ball is in your court.
markblock 04.07.08 @ 6:40 amInstitute for One Wisconsin is a joke. Guess we need a WEAC watch website too. They are just as influential as WMC…and perhaps more since Doyle is in their back pocket.
Scott 04.07.08 @ 10:52 amwell at least you don’t engage in hyperbole, scott.
and video cameras at the polls are just another right-wing voter intimidation tactic. i’ll be glad to share with you our reports of intimidation and misinformation to get voters to stay home.
